Gustavo Godinez-Carcamo, 40, was in the driveway of his residence at 10 Anne Lane when a passenger inside the vehicle shot him at 11:52 p.m., authorities said. The suspect fled on foot.
Godinez-Carcamo was rushed to South Shore University Hospital in Bay Shore, where he was pronounced dead.
Suffolk County Police Homicide Squad detectives are investigating and urge anyone with information to call 631-852-6392 or submit an anonymous tip to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS.
